hi,i had a 405 mi16 before my e30 and i bought a near immaculate full leather interior for it,anyway, when i sold the car i sold the interior (which i never got to fit)on ebay but the buyer kept messing me about. well im glad he did as i told him to stuff it and used it in my e30!,the width of the rear seats is exactly the same!! the front seat frames were changed for peugeot tilters, the ones where the handles are attached to the frames, and the frames were decreased in width by about 5 inches!! (obviously peugeot frames dont allow for the drivetrain tunnel!) the height of the rear seats was an issue aswell as they are about 100mm to high so i tilted the parcel shelf to suit, anyway,i wont bore you anymore, the end result is excellent, took lots and lots of cutting, welding and bracketry etc,but i got there in the end! i would post some pics up but i never have succeded, how do i do that?? cheers

no mate, either front wheel drive or 4wd! and anyway, the frames couldnt be used as all 405's were 4 door,so no tilting seats!! i'll try and post some pics on here.....

i wouldnt say they were easy! i had to cut off the two brackets which are spot welded on to hold the bmw seat with a disc cutter, these are right in the way of where the new rear head rest brackets! i welded six brackts on just for the upper back seat, these were to meet up with the hooks on the back of the seat, but afeter doing all that the hardest part was the arm rest believe it or not!! i had to weld a bracket to the original armrest bracket to fix behind the seat using bolts, very awkward to get in to drill etc...still,got there in the end, took about a week and a half of lunchtimes at work welding and night at home fitting, cutting and changing!!well worth it! peugeot leather lasts forever!!!

nice one Telski, should look nice ,although you may upset some purists on the zone. I have just fitted half leather recaros from a Rover 800 vitesse to my project car. some people may may hate the idea but they would agree they look better than the crap that was in there.
