hey i've got a 318 touring 1990 and i'm trying to remove the glass from the drivers side door and i can't quite see what i'm meant to do, the haynes manual says

1 Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2 Remove the door trim panel and the plastic
water shield (see Section 12).
3 Prise the door inner and outer weatherstrips
4 Raise the window so that the mounting
bolts can be reached through the access hole.
If electric windows are fitted, temporarily
reconnect the battery cable to accomplish
this.
5 Support the glass, and remove the retaining
bolts securing the glass to the regulator.
6 Lift the window glass up and out of the door
window slot, then tilt it and remove it from the
door.
7 Refitting is the reverse of removal.

but i can't see any mounting bolts, the bottom of the window is held in with the catch at the two pints it touches the window regulator, it looks like the window just sits into these an could be pulled ou but try as myself and my bro might they don't budge an inch, i've attached photos of the catches at the end of the windows, if anyone had expereince of working wh these catches please give me some advice. am i just too weedy, is there a secret bolt hidden somewhere, please help!!

Ignore Haynes!
Only the inner seal needs to come off.
wedge the glass up in place and remove the winder mechanism completely. You may need to 'adjust' the winder as you do this to get the arms with the rollers to come clear of the glass.
Remove wedge, turn glass semi on end, and remove.

No force required anywhere.
Wedge the window, unbolt the window mech, but leave the electrics connected, and juggle the rollers out of the glass with the window switch.
All very easy.

Glass and the clamp are one unit....
