Folks,
I'm wary of jump starting a car with so many electronics onboard, but I don't know what effect removing the battery completely will have either. Which is the safer option? Its a new battery, but it went dead overnight :/

If you are in a rush I suggest sticking the side lights on as this should stop any spikes.

If not then yes remove battery re charge it

Now running a treat after a good charge. Does anyone know what sort of current these things should be drawing with the key out and (factory) alarm set? I'm starting to suspect a bit of a short somewhere.
