What Primer??

I'm in the process of rubbing-down my MTech2 valance. It appears to have been primered in white, then given at least 3 coats of colour which has stone-chipped badly and someone has then sprayed satin black straight over the top.
Obviously, I need to get it flatted right back to the primer so that the gashness doesn't show through when it's re-sprayed in Diamond black.
My problem is that in places, even though I'm being as careful as I can, I'm rubbing right through the paint to the plastic. So, what primer should I use when the time comes?

You'll need some plastic primer, as the first coat, which will allow some flex to the paint. You can then use 2pack primer over the top and then base colour and then lacquer.

I've had to do the same thing on my kit.

I've flatted mine all the way back to bare plastic as I didn't want to mess about with the dodgy paint that's on there.

you can buy an adative to put in the primer and paint to make flex for bumpers its pointless putting plastic primer on them going over it with 2pack primer as the flexi coat is hidden buy a brittle coat and that will just cause the paint to crack and flake off over time. ive always just used 2pack primer and paint its gonna get stone chipped anyway and never had no trouble
