No power steering=no brakes on these!

that will cost 2bags to sort out the elec/mech issues easily...

Such a shame seeing them like that. I've seen quite a few of these up for sale lately, none in such a sorry state though. I really like the 6 & 8 series.

Those back seats look well comfy

Cheap 850 is a contradiction in terms.

I bought an e36 coupe from the same garage as that car has come from and it was a nightmare it looked good on paper but the longer I owned it the more it became aparent that it must of had a real hard life before I got it and it started to turn into a real money pit and that was only a 318is.

I really would no like to think how much that would cost id f you really got into. You could well be better off buying this fragging it and putting the money twards a nice one.

Surely has to be a bargain at £1300. Stick it in storage for 20 years and wait until it becomes appreciated again...

That would be very, very expensive to fix unless you did everything yourself and had a cheap supply of bits. Touble is, almost everything is specific to the 8 Series and very liitle is shared with the E34 or E32. E31's have multiplex wiring and a bad one is an electrical storm on wheels. That poor thing has been councilled to death. It would need to be £500 to be a bargain because you'd break it to around £2000.
