Hi there! I have searched the forum but cant find the answer to my problem. My OBC on a 320i cabriolet (1990 - H reg) is working but the display is very dim. Reading the forum posts, I suspected that i need to change the bulbs, but on removing the radio, I cant see the "square white box" on the side of the OBC - which apparantly houses the bulbs?? There is an oblong white box at the back - which when I remove it has a pcb inside (doesnt appear to do much as nothing changed to the display on removal). Have I got a different OCB, or am I missing something obvious. Can anyone help please??

You're missing something obvious! The light bar for the display is on the top right side. Of course it could be missing in which case there would be an empty slot.

it will appear as a white cover on the side but when you slide it out you will see it is about 2 inches long with the 2 bulbs on the pcb
the other one at the back is the code plug

IIRC, you can see the light bar by removing the radio and it's frame, but you can't remove it because of a bit of plastic in the way.
