This time a saloon manual 2.5, early p reg. Nice nik and drives well. Now what do I do with it. Use it. Brake it or sell it..... I do still have the 4 door 318 aswell. Maybe transplant in that and the m30 in my touring. But that will leave me with a highly tuned 2.5 that I want to keep in a motor of some sort sitting around..
Any suggestion's.

Clearance might be an issue 
Why don't you drive the e39 around for a while, see how it feels and make up your mind later? 2.5 sounds like a nice motor.

Lol... m30 in the touring, m50 in the more door and m40 in the bin or as a paper weight..
