As above, we have a group of lads looking for something to do as part of a stag weekend, must be within maximum 3 hours of Bournemouth.

I would like something that will actually teach me something, the others would like some fun, some of these guys have never driven RWD before (and one has never driven anything faster than a diesel alfa!).

What can you guys recommend?

Try a skidpan/car control day at Goodwood.

Got my own stag do next year so might look for something similar.

Skid pan at Thruxton hooning in Sierras, Ok but ultimately a bit pointless for real life as we get snow every blue moon. Book the test track at Haynes Sparkford, about £350 last time I had it so not too bad for a few sharing, will teach a lot more about driving/car control. Only one car allowed on at a time so can "race" against the clock etc. A while ago now so prices may have changed. Also for petrol heads there is a mooch around the museum when you are there. Most track day/driving experiences restrict the cars to death so you don't really get to drive the car that you think you are driving so not really worth the money imo.
For sale - E30 320i racer project - sold.

Recently just did a day at Thruxton on their cart track for a stag doo. Was brilliant. Carts do 65mph and it pissed it down with rain. At no point in 3 hours driving was i facing the correct direction.

Was about £70 a person and had heats qualifying and a main race. There was 15 of us.
