Hi guys, I've just bought a 1987 325ise 4 door. It is in very good condition except the electric windows and the central locking dont work on the rear doors. The electric windows seem to make a clicking sound when you push the button (and the switch is illuminated) but the windows dont move. The central locking seems to make the required sound on the drivers side rear but the pin doesnt go up and down. As far as I can tell the passenger side rear door doesnt make a sound but I'm not 100% on that one. Any ideas? Could the problems be connected i.e the rear door electrical connector?
Many thanks in advance!

Very strange! Rear door electrical connectors don't suffer from the problems that the front door ones do, and the rest of the connections in the loom are by soldered joints only.
You'll have to take the door cards off, and see what's happening.

Thanks, will try a direct feed to the window motors and report back!
