Right - i know there are some well connected people on here.

Just wondering if anyone has any contacts at nakamichi, or knows of anyone that does???

After a particular (car audio) product of their's which is proving very difficult to find!!!

Afraid not, have you tried their website? they don't seem to have a uk distributor but theres plent in europe that might be able to help.

anyway what are you looking for?

if I won the lottery I'd have a CD700II head unit

Yeah, I see they have no UK distributor - thought it'd be a bit extreme to set up as one just to get a daddio h/u though!!!! (Tempting though, my own little nakamichi shop!!!!)

I really, really, really want an IN-DV7!!!!!!!

Might have to go on hold now though as i think i've just secured one of these: Clicky for a bargain price!!!!!

I'll contact another distributor when i'm ready - just wondered if anyone had a contact that might be easier!!!

Just noticed on their website distributors for stereo equipment and tv's perhaps if you ask nicely they might be able to get hold of one.

And I guessing that must be a half decent valve amplifier? didn't know they made them for car audio, would be a waste if you don't get a nakamichi h/u now.

Good point, might be worth a try!!!

Amp is very decent!!!!! Top of their range and retails for £1500!!!! (don't worry, i'm not even paying half that!!!!)
I do have a recent nakamichi i could use (the one with the 6 disc changer built into a single din unit!!) that is very good, but i'm using a rare sony one with a fold out 7 inch monitor at the moment - like having the multimedia options with the amount of time i spend in the car!!! Sat on the M25 for about three hours trying to get home on saturday morning and a film always lightens the mood!!!!!
