Finally managed to get the piccies of last weekend's efforts posted on the interweb so here they are:

Car on shiny new and huge axlestands:

Image

Engine and 'box on sheet of plywood waiting to be lifted and for car to be lowered a bit

Image

Same kinda thing only different angle

Image

A quick piccy of the modded sump with two oil returns from a Landy of some description (cheers for the heads up on those ant!)

Image

And then the latest addition to the merry modified party, my mental new wheels which unfortunately make my big brake kit look tiny :(

Image

But do have the advantage that they don't need spacers in order to clear the calipers :)

Cheers!

They're only 17x7"!

Think when those discs wear out I might have to find some bigger ones and space the calipers out.

That is a mental angle for a car TB, bet the back is close to the floor! Just got my sump out yesterday, doesn't it seem criminal drilling a huge whole in the sump. All in the name of power i suppose though.

Those wheels look the dogs danglies, loving them.

Yeah, was a bit of a scary moment drilling 6 holes in the sump, although I had made up a stiffening plate from 6mm ali so I only had to clamp that onto the outside and then drill through that.

The wheels were Ԛ£650 including VAT, postage and tyres which are Toyo TS1s I think. Got them from a company called edworthy's who I randomly found on the net.

Apparently they're discontinued now though so if ya want a set then make haste
