i am doing a m30 3.5 conversion and a friend asked me for my 325i sport gearbox clutch and propshaft, as his one is a auto and wants to convert it to a manual, he said to me i will only need the back end of my prop so he will just give me his one, is this right will his auto prop fit my one its only the back of the prop i need? or shall i just keep my one? :?

Look in the for sale section as Toby Unna is selling an M3 prop which will bolt on with no other mods

His prop will be ok for you i believe as its only the front half that differ in length which you will have to get shortened anyway and the front of the doner car welded on to mate up with the box.

By the way what mounts you using?

Remember to get the prop balanced before mounting it ;)

You need E30 back piece, and E28 or E30 front piece which has to be shortened.
