The wiring for the interior lights runs back the LH sill from the glovebox area, across the rear seat pan, over the RH sill to the interior light delay module socket, situated below the RH speaker. At the bottom of each B pillar (front door latch pillar) there is a three pin plug and socket, with a three wire loom going up to each interior light.
The map lights have nothing to do with the other interior lights, and connect to a two pin socket behind the speaker, with a purple/green and brown wire.

From the accessories socket at the back of the glovebox (via a relay in the corner of the glovebox on UK spec. cars). Same wire that feeds the electric windows.cypriot_boy_2k7 wrote:were does the sunroof power run?

ok brian, thanks mate, another quick one, i just connected up an obc i have a black conector left over near the glove box, it looks like this:
___

any ideas

any ideas
Connectors over the glove box would most likely be connectors for the relay box that controls the engine code disable feature and connects into a relay pack over the ecu..
I dont use mine, so dont worry about it..

What colours are the wires?

Just a tiny question Brian since we're on the subject of lighting...
Are all E30s wired for the maplight mirror or would I have to splice into the sunroof loom or just run a new wire to the accessories socket

Mirror socket is seperate from the accessories socket, and should be present on all E30s.
