Hi guys

im not looking to get masses of power out of this engine but i was wondering if there is anything that can be done with the standard 1.6i m40 like putting a 1.8 head on it etc to make it a little more lively since it needs headwork done anyway (camshaft is badly worn) this car is going to be my winter car until my son passes his test so i dont really want to dump the 2.5 out of my touring into it when i do the m50 conversion 8O

Heads are the same AFAIK.

It's only the bottom end that's different.

Put a chip in it and be done with it.
