im off to look at a 318 tommorrow for my other half.... (finally persuaded her to have an E30)
she has'nt passed her test yet but that will give me time to sort out any minor problems with a cheap car....
its only £400 so im not expecting the world, but any hints on what to look out for would be appreciated....
anybody know the history would be an added bonus aswell G486 KWA

Yes, rust. Everything else can be sorted but the 318 does like to rattle its top end which isn't terminal but there's no cheap fix.
My advise would be to budget for a good service, a new set of good tyres (RWD can be unforgiving).
Check for a smell of petrol round the back of the car incase the fuel tank is leaking.
