help needed

hi i brought a mint e30 cab the other week and just decided i needsome tunes for the summer but thing is i wired the head unit in but found out thers no speakers in it or wiring either i need help please

Well i assume that the headunit is operating i.e. you are getting power to it?

Now if youve wired the headunit in using an ISO plug; then wiring in the speakers will be very simple. From what i recall; cabs only have speakers in the front only, in the kickpanels either side of the car.

Now all you need to do is run some standard speaker wire; say from halfords or wherever; or if you plan on runiing amplifier then i suggest thicker speaker wire; however that aside; you connect the speaker wire to the ISO plug; now that will be in the following colours if memory serves me right:

Purple & purple black
white & white black
grey and grey black

and theres one other; i cant remember. it should be labelled tbh; but if it isnt this is a rough guide

then all you need to do is pull out the headunit; wire these in appropaiately, runs the wire behind the glovebox to the passneger speaker; and the other wire behind the capret behind the pedals to the drivers side.
