im looking to convert my 1989 F 318i to a 320i, before anyone asks why am I not converting to a 325i its because my insurance will be too high at the moment and I have a b25 engine in my garage that I will be slowly rebuilding to put in at a later date

the headgasket went on my 316i and now it might have gone on my 318i so I'll need another engine, my insurance is only slightly higher with the 2.0 than the 1.8 so I might as well put a b20 in for the 6pot sound 8)

what parts do I need to convert my 318i? I already have 51mm struts and rear disks

Is the 318i diff ok for a 320i?

I also have a 3 piece 325i exhaust

TIA

Just done this with my touring (got it running and moving today!!! :D ) the diff will be fine as iv been told on here that 318i and 320i use the same diff anyway (might just be tourings though), other than that, you'l need the wiring loom(engine side) and g-box, propshaft, and the usuall ancilliaries eg, alternator, PAS pump if your car has PAS, radiator and plumbing, and i think thats all, hope this helps ya :D
Wanted: Any old component speakers, complete or separate parts, let me know what you got :D
