hi all,
this may seem like a dumb question to some, but is the auto box running with a clutch plate flywheel set up?
i have a 320 engine and box i picked up (auto), and am going to replace into my 316 (manual).
i have split the box (getrag) and it appears to have a clutch in there.
can i use this clutch thingy and flywheel connected to a manual box from a 320 or does the flywheel need to be changed?
any help will be appreciated.
thanks ajay

Auto's have a torque converter attached to a different flywheel.Do you intend to mount the autobox? The 4 cylinder gearbox does not mount on the 6 cylinder engine either....
