e30/e36 springs interchangeable?

Hello!

I was wondering if the springs for the e30, e36 sedan are interchangeable.
what are the differences between the two types of springs?

silly question!

They are for 2 totally different cars with a massive difference in weight

I beleive you can fit the springs from an E36 M3 to the E30, the normal E36 springs area a larger diameter.. Not sure why you would want to with the rates being different. The weight differences aren't that massive but until you got them on the car you wouldn't be able to predict the results (without some maths and head scratching).
