Better drag this off page two and update it.
First off, front suspension bufty refresh, new Lemforder lower arms with ball joints, M3 eccentric lollipop bushes, front legs stripped, painted and protected then fitted with H&R cup kit shocks and springs.
Ignore the skanky discs, they wont be on for much longer as ill be upgrading the brakes soon.
Next up is the front end repaired/resprayed.
Now, the rimzzz... as ill be going with bigger brakes i needed at least 16's,
Treated myself to a set of staggered Alpina's (sorry no pics)
problem is ill be using the car as a daily again soon and im a bit paranoid in case i damage them or if they get nicked!
So the pina's will only be used for best.
So i needed a cheap set of wheels that i dont really care if they get knocked about etc.
But they had to be 16's and be able to take a 225 tyre on the rear.
First of all i went down the Borbet route but once they were on the car i didnt think it suited it so they were quickly sold on.
I decided to buy new, they were £360 Delivered and had Drift on the box.
BBS reps, 4x100/4/108 16x8j ET25 and 16x9j ET20 with gold studs an big dish innit.
Now i had plans as soon as they arrived as the super duper hyper silver isnt my cup of tea so that had to be changed.
I still had the gunmetal paint details from years ago when i painted my BBS mahles so nipped to the paint shop to get some mixed up.
Masking them up was easy, i used masking tape to go round the centre then used the box for the rest.
This is how they turned out, couldnt get a decent pic due to the flash.
I wont be using the centre caps either as pretty simply i dont like them.

i prefer to see the bolts and with the 4x100/108 stud pattern imo dont look to bad.
I will be using a centre cap of some sort just to cover the hole in the middle.
Ill update with better pics soon in daylight as it doesnt realy show off the colour of the paint but here they are
Not bad for only £85 a wheel and the quality dont seem too bad, plus they have had about four coats of Poorboys wheel sealant on them to give them a help in hand at surviving the elements.
I nipped to see my old school mate who runs a tyre bay and picked up a pair of Goodyear 215/45/16's to go on the front but still undecided about the rear, has to be 225 but dont know whether to go with 40 or 45's.
Should be taxed in the next couple of weeks and cant wait!
