Someone gave him 2K deposit, then couldn't come up with the readies... so he still has it and he's 2K in profit...

That is one seriously impressive line up of E30s! Has it made the local press?

Yep all arranged, local press interviewed Malcolms widow last week and article will be appearing in 'THE NEWS' hopefully tomorrow Tuesday.Brianmoooore wrote:That is one seriously impressive line up of E30s! Has it made the local press?
Will naturally be slanted on a tribute to Malcolm !
Everyone involved should be extremely proud in the way that our respects were shown.

My pics from the great day... sincere apologies if I missed anyone...
OK, E30s first...
Wouldn't have been such a special day without this car there...

Iain's Hartge

Wayne's Pimpmobile

Lisa's Sport, immaculate as always, first Portsmouth outing with the proper bumper and valance.

Paul's Sport, (Lisa's partner, liked hers so much he bought himself one...)

Jackie's Baur, a rare iS model... I like a lot...

A nice looking Touring, not sure who's. Sorry

Simon13's Racing Dynamics Touring

E30Mark's Touring with Sport kit and THAT numberplate...

hongkongfuey's car with bonnet released... Did anyone else find the deep water this time?

Suchy's lovely grey Sport

Dameon's (I think) touring looks immaculate. Very nice.

I love Calypso red...

Gaszman's Touring looking smarter each time I see it

Spook's Touring, with the worrying pack of Werthers on the dash...

My battered Touring, hopefully sorted by this weekend

Davidt's lovely Sport, as immaculate as ever... with a book magically floating above the passenger seat...

If I read Steve's post right, this is a Motorsport copy, nicely done, belonging to Vince. Sorry if I'm wrong

Terry-E30's latest E30. 4dr with Cliffybabe arches and painted dials

Steve-E30's Sport, with raised bonnet for extra cooling

Think I'm right in saying this is a genuine Motorsport belonging to Bun?

Very smart looking Touring, where are the E30Zone stickers though???

Sorry, not sure who owns this one. Looks nice, like the wheels

Essexboy's (Lee) convertible... Lovely colour mate...

Could this be Dodgem's 318iS?

One of a few that got everyone drooling... Darell's beautiful M3

Last, but by no means least, Colin's 2.7 4-dr. A 6yr labour of love... Want to swap engines Colin?

A few pics of non-E30s now...
This I would LOVE to take home, thanks so much for bringing it Jamie

Spook's latest acquisition... E28 5 series.

Richard, (Interloper) with his E39 5-series. A regular at this meet, despite not having an E30.

Ziggy's caddy. At least the wheels are E30... it's a start, or one hell of a bodykit...

Jon_Bmw's Audi. At least it's German.

Aidy's current shop transport... until his next E30 bargain arrives

A few shots at the castle.

Aidy's shop... Spare parts anyone?

The castle tower. Suchy is just visible in the turrets one to the left of the flag.

Sheila, Malcolm's widow. A very brave lady turning up to be faced with all of us. Well done.

A photo of Malcolm, part of the gains from the collection. Thanks again to all who donated.

Last pic not good, got too much reflection off the glass, here's the contents of the frame...

A few more shots of Malcolm's car... Really hope it goes to a local Zoner...

Quality shots but dissapointed by the LACK OF ZONE STICKERS displayed on cars !!!!
Come on peeps - get it sorted.
I think some of the shots by all the happy snappers (Gordon being the boss of that group
) were brilliant.

Bog stock suspension... doubt I'll bother lowering it properly, but I may get round to lopping a coil off the front springs (or maybe even buying some proper ones if I find em cheap!). Could do a rear axle flip too, if I could be bothered. Should probably have at least one car that's drivable though...munky30 wrote:

flip the axle, cut out half the spring on the front and spray it matt black... you know it makes sense.

If it had been anything but black when I got it, it would already have been either matt black or olive drab by now! Just don't know if I can be ar$ed with working on it - maybe when the E30's back on the road, if I have it back on the road for long enough before I play swap-the-engine!
At least I de-chromed the VW badge eh?!
