Ebay is paradise compared to gumtree.

Never had a positive experience buying or selling through it.

I sold my MX bike through ebay the ebay charges would have been £6 -700 if memorie serves so my asking price reflected that and no one was interested except one guy who suggested going outside of ebay.

I got my money he got his bike no ebay fees and every one was happy! i did the same with a set of rugby final tickets.

So when i wanted to buy my touring i called the sellor proposed a deal out of ebay and happy days i got my touring at a good price!

No no not at all phil, this wasnt aimed at you and I should have made that clear, I do appologise, dont mean to come over as a dick. That was just one instance, fair enough you maybe coulda researched a little better but its not your fault and if you wernt gunna be able to use em, I wouldnt want you taking em. It was the fact a couple other people did that that day aswell but for no good reason...just stopped contacting me. Some with car bits and some with bike parts. Ended up reasonably far up shit creek haha.

Also i second babs words on gumtree....it is hands down the dodgiest site i have ever come accross. I took my motorbike off cos i was worried my house was gunna get robbed with some of the interest I was receiving.
