Update:
Yesterday i travelled over to Carlisle to collect a Sport black leather interior from Ecca and the Weather was nice today so decided to spend abit of time sorting out the interior.
Started off by giving it a wipe down to freshen it up and remove the dust gathered while in storage, then moved on to fitting the Audiosport door pods ive had sitting in a cupboard for months. Dont know if i like them so they may come back off.
After getting the pods sorted i started sorting out the leathers ready to fit once i had removed the old interior. took that out and gave the carpet a good hoover before fitting the kick panels, sill trims and centre consoles. there was no need to mess about with adding poppers to any of the cards as all poppers were present and none of them broken which was nice,
After the leathers were fitted in i swapped the Tech 1 wheel out for my nice new Momo wheel and fit the map light mirror i bought few weeks back, although i could not see where the conection was to plug this in, anyone know where that located?
need to sort out a new leather handbrake gaitor, cover is missing off the auto shifter also but not too bothered as being converted to manual when the new donk goes in and i have a leather gear gaitor here.
Just need to find somewhere to get my sport headliner fitted and the interior will be almost sorted
ordered some new numbers plates yesterday aswell so should have those to go on mid next week
took a few pics in between fitting
Old interior out

Floor cleaned out, trims and kick panels fitted

Rear cards and seats in

Door cards fitted

not alot to update on at the minute Ali, hows your cab coming on, you got that kit painted yet?Ali786 wrote:Any updates mate?
Havnt been spending alot as funds are on hold for the new Engine. Due to having no response from the company I spoke to about doing the S50 conversion for me I have opted to go a different route with it and a new Donk has been sourced
Removed all the original suspesion to replace for my Gaz coilovers, Unfortunately the control arm bushes were all shot and the threads on the passenger side arm bush were ruind so bought new control arms to replace them both, just waiting for the M3 eccentric bushes to turn up and then i can get those changed over. The backing plates were in a sorry state so i removed them and swapped them for the set I had left over from the cab, gave them a clean down and a few coats off black paint to tidy them up before fitting. I will get some pics up when I'm done.
Bought some pressed plates to fit, they wont be going on til the Tech II kit is fitted though. Im dropping the kit off for paint tomorrow or Tuesday.
Sadly I think I am going to have to get a Tech II spoiler to go with the kit as I just dont think the Tech I spoiler is suited to a black car. so looks like that will be coming off in the near future.
Work is starting to pick up now and I have just been offered a permanent position
More too come soon

I fooking hate 24v conversions mate. I reckon you made the right choice dropping it off. Getting the work done by others is always great.
Looks like I'll be getting my hands oily again. Boooo
It'll be a cracker once finished I reckon.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Well after agreing a sale a few weeks ago the 316 left for London with its new owner today.
Was a shame to let it go being such e clean one but I just lost heart in it and felt I had to move on. Wont be the last E30 for me though I will be looking for a sport in the later half of next year
Just sorted my new car today and will be picking her up end of next week hopefully
