You can buy bushes that raise the beam by 12mm which is about the max without molesting the floor/chassis rails/diff mounts/trans tunnel etc etc

I also used snap on carbide grinding bits on an air powered ddie grinder. Whizzed through it in minutes

Yes still doing these, price is now £200 and there is a longer wait unfortunately, I dont have any ready done because im so busy with other work, but if you send me your beam I can have it done in about 2 weeks normally

ive got an rb25det dropped in her so just over 300 bhp, been told its advisable with higher power engines.
just trying to source a reasonably priced subframe so mine isnt sat for few weeks.

If you just want some 4mm plate welding over the mounting points its not much of an issue, personally I would double hang the diff using an E36 back plate, will be much stronger than a bit of plate on the beam
