Hello everybody. I shall be attending this one in my mk3 supra...... caugh caugh....erm... 8 series.......
lol and my friend Jon with his 540 e34 on straight bores will be coming (I made the exhaust system myself "claim to fame"). And yes, it is very very loud. The kind of loud that when it drives past your 1st born develops a strange attraction to Gasoline and all your pets run for cover kinda loud. I get the impression we will have cars full of friends as well just so it looks like we've all had our cars lowered as we come in the carpark!
Just wondering where we are meeting for the cruise over Steve? What time and location please amigo.

I was looking at the weather forecast for 2nite. Although its about as sunny as the inside of my closet, rain like tridents scorn and wind that was tearing the carwash apart on the polegate roundabout last night, the forecast isn't too bad. It appears to be clearing up later on.

Awesome, I wouldn't be 2 worried about your input shaft rattle though, all my e30's did it to some degree and by contrast yours is quite quiet. But if your transmission is showing other signs of wear then maybe it is time to recondition it. In theory it would be an investment on a dogleg gearbox as well.
If you tried ringing me a sec ago it would of been busy so give it a try in 5 mins.
Speak soon, Jim

My car passed it's M.O.T. today!
Looks like I will be coming along then!

lol, sorted every thing else?? insurance etc? what you have done at ant's i must go up there and see what hes got etc, might have to take some extra cash just incase

Yep, fully legal.
Ant was mapping the Megasquirt ecu for me, I've just fitted Toby Unna's old turbo to the M30 boat anchor.
I've not been able to drive it on a dry road yet!
Anyway, I'll update my thread in a bit as to not go off topic here!

yer will defo wanna see the car
how much did the mega squirt cost??
im thinking of turboing but at a low boost maybe to try and see what a stock internals can take, im thinking 6psi would be safeish, i just aint bothered about this engine and tbh i wanna see what it makes at 6psi, never know it may handle it for some time, and thinking about it logicly if te engine blows up 2 weeks months or maybe next year, i wouldnt lose money as id have a full turbo set up for a future engine and id then put the b25 i want to put in there,

Cheers for organising this Steve, I thought it was great to final meet most of ya' in the flesh and metal.
Also... While there was a M50 swapped E30, a turbo megasquirt M30 lump, go me for having the brightest interior lights.
See ya next time.

Yeah, nice one Steve!
And your car sounded great on the way out - big six rightness at it's noisy best!
Was good to see the usual people and some new faces too.
Sawyer, I didn't realise it was you, only on the way home the missus said to me "I heard those guys say they are from Coxheath."
Sorry for not introducing myself, I'm a bit shy though!
Hope to see you all again at the next one.
