Lighten up, think that was an obviously lighthearted dig.

It was a joke!!

Relax. Some good pictures off the e36 coupe site, which was nice as I left my camera at my other address. Didn't get to speak to any of the e36 guys though. :(

Exactly, where would we be withought humour. I'd make another joke but I fear it would be lost.

For the record I've owned an e36 before too. I don't remember having to leave my funny bone in the glovebox though.

BMJG, it's nothing personal I'm sure, just the "E30 better than E36" bit, like you probably have on the E36 site, but in reverse.

If it makes you feel better there are some VERY council E30s on here... winkeye

and for the record, a friend of mine has an E36 TDS, nice car to drive, but you wouldn't BELIEVE the money he's spent on it in the 2 years he's had it, poor b'stard's changed almost everything...
I'd be happy to own an E36, as a daily commuter waggon, but it would have to be a second car, I wouldn't swap the E30 for one. :D

just like we said at your meet i love them both my daily is the e36 and my e30 cabby is my toy, have had a e30 in one form or another now for about 6/7 years.

Did anyone notice that vailis (blue e36 with kitt on)had e30 mirrors on his car ???

That was the one with Eli on the numberplate? Didn't realise they were E30 mirrors, but you guys have some very nice looking E36s. As I said, I'd have one as a second car, but can't afford one... and if I did, it would probably be another E30 for spares for my current turd... (the green Touring).

The Blue Coupe was a stunner ( nothing to do with the blond on the bonnet ;) ) I nearly bought a E36 Alpina just over a year ago.
