Excellent news guys ! Cheers for the update.
Glad to see you back on Dameon (even though i know your still not over it all yet)

Ive just spoke to the nice lady at BTB, letting her know i'll be paying in a couple of days time.

I also enquired about adding an X-pipe to the order. She said there was another member asking about that - guess that'll be Jai :D -
She said if people wanted to order X-pipes and the orders came in dribbs and drabbs they'd have to charge them out at a normal price not a group buy price of 260 +vat or whatever it was. But as now i want one (2nd person) she is going to contact the MD or someone and see if they can batch them up as still part of the group buy price. She's hopeful as there is now 2 wanting this done.

So basically, if anyone is wanting an X-pipe - its time to act now !

Cheers :D

Update about X-pipe (for people thinking about or wanting them)

The nice lady at BTB rang back this afternoon and confirmed my order for the X-pipe - at the group buy price.

So it can still happen. Just a 'heads-up' as i know a few people have asked.

My X-pipe will be about 3 weeks away so i'll collect manifold all at the same time.

Cheers for everyones continued effort and help on this. So glad its paid off in the end :D

Cheers
James

**Edit**

For some reason the administrators won't let me send a PM ???

So i'll have to shout out to Jai here;
Im sure you've got yours all under control mate. Not that im telling you what to do but thought id pass on what the lady at BTB said, basically if you could give her a call as it is now possible to have the X-pipe made up at the group buy price.
But im sure you've got it sorted, and obviously ignore this if you've already placed the order.

Just thought i'd help out if i could.

Cheers :D

Awesome Jhonno!

Glad to hear about the X pipe situation for everyone. They hinted to me they might honour the group buy price but didn't promise anything. Good to know they'll sort us out. I'd better ring and confirm incase my email didn't!

Adam (the engineer I asked) informs me the outside diameter of the X pipe outlets are 2" so if you need ot fabricate an exhaust to mate to it, make sure it is a twin 2" with swages that have a 2" internal diameter.

I'm acutually considering an Supersprint M3 mid section, or perhaps a cheaper one from scorpion or something. It should be easy to mate to the X pipe with a couple of 2" 90 degree bends.

AFAIK, it should bolt up to the engine and fit in the car, but the 3.0ltr manifolds dont have the threads for the Lambda sensors like the 3.2 Evo manifolds do - they are fitted in front of the Cats on the 3.0ltr.

Im not sure if there is any difference in the centre sections, or if the Evo centre will fit onto the 3.0ltr manifold and vice-versa. That may be a small problem, but should be easy enough to modify around.

I think the best answer is no dude.... You're not gonna be able to jsut fit any of the E36 exhaust parts straight on, hence this entire group buy. James is also right that the 3.0 manifolds will fit a 3.2 engine but need the lambda sensor bungs fitting (pointless). The sensors have to be the right distance from the engine.

So: NO

Bringing the thread back from the dead lol :D
EDIT; Just remember i used to be on here as E30_Tracker until we signed up as the company (i.e Beemer Redeemer) just incase anyone wonders "who the hell is this and i can't remember him on our list"

Just wondering if anyone is still looking for a set BTB-converted 3.0 manifolds with X-pipe ? Either someone who's already purchased and needs another set or even a new comer doing an S50 conversion.

Reason i ask is that mine are for sale. I haven't even fitted them once. They are still in the box and have only been out for a picture or 2.

Things have changed direction with my E30 and the S50 is now on hold as im steaming my way through to PBMW Cup in a few months time. Its all back to standard 320i :(

So same condition as when they cam from BTB a few months ago, but i can guarantee i can do them cheaper than BTB. hehe winkeye
