He says it's a FACT, but I'm not 100% convinced Pony was in central london - he was probably cruising in his sport classic BMW E30 325i, with 40% LSD and genuine OEM BMW parts fitted, down Golders Green on a saturday afternoon.

That doesn't make any sense! Why would you want to protest down Ken High St? What was the protest about?

I was trying to picture the event in my mind. Was your Classic BMW E30, 325i in the centre of the road, with, as you describle; Israelis on one side of the road, and Palestinians on the other, i.e seperated by the road, or were they walking together?
Was the car free to move, or were you being blocked? Revving the 325i might have helped - and it would have sounded awesome!

You see!! - now, that paints a totally different picture.
It doesn't sound like a protest at all, it sounds more like a stand off between Israelis and Palestinians - that is of course, only correct if you got that FACT right. How could you tell the difference?
If the sport, sorry, Classic BMW E30 325i, was in the middle of the road, then you were simply driving down it, There was absolutley no risk to you, or more importantly, the car!
Drama queen!

Pony drive straight through and they parted like the sea, you know like that episode of only fools were there a riot and they all stop and del drives the reliant through the middle of the rioters/cops
For the rest of time kensingiston high st will be forever known as ..
THE PONY STRIP !!
After 60 years of hate and war, all it took was Pony and his 325 sport (with genuine BMW parts) to get peace in the middle east.

Update
August 4th
I have yet to get the downpipe gasket fitted and the illuminated Gearknob wiring fitted.
The downpipe gasket which needs a new component is reducing power and fuel economy. Though I think it makes it a little louder.
I have bought the downpipe gasket, the nuts and the wiring for the illuminated Gearknob.
Bss325i said I may need new studs so have ordered these just should they break upon fitting.
I have from BMW Dealer ordered the downpipe gasket studs. Apparently there are 4 of them and they are £23!!!! And that is £21 with my BMW Car Club discount of 10%.
I did not think they were that expensive.
PS
I driving the Sport on the weekend. I was driving the Sport in Hyde Park tunnel and my mate was very impressed with the reverb

Update
Today Had a motorcyclist who looks like he works for ECP given he had high-vis vest go up to me on Shepherds Bush roundabout at the lights and go.
That sounds good .... When he heard the noise (from the Sport) he said that he thought it was R1 or something .... Then was surprised to see E30 325i Sport .... And that is sounded "like a race car"
I did get a dodgy look from an old man too as well he kept staring at me, presumably that ain't because he fancies me.

Drifting went great. I did some drifting in Millbrook in July 2014. I'll add all the updates from June 2014 to present after I finished the BMW Car Club Road Trip in May 2014 threadLondonTom wrote:How's the drifting coming along?

I got some big drift angles with the Sport today and was leaving some nice 11s. Got a few admiring glances from some females too
I did get stopped actually by a bloke going the other way in Land Rover. He flashed me and I thought he was flashing me because of my exhuberant driving style (or as kos told me to say to BMW Car Club members he says I have a "wild" driving style). Actually he was a white bloke and he I don't think was middle class ? Anyway I thought maybe he was going to give me some abuse but he goes .... Are you selling it ?
Me: nahhhh mate
Him: its nice
Me: it's had 12 owners
Him: u had it long ?
Me: 2010 I have spent £Xk on it and then I told him some of the New Genuine BMW Parts I have had fitted.
Him: is it 325i ?
Me: E30 325i Sport
He was then telling me he has had quite a few BMWs including E30s and the later models. I was holding up a vehicle behind me so had to cut the conversation short. Nice to get some appreciation I must admit
