No, I was actually thinking myself that it looks like it has! It's got those phillips blue vision bulbs, very good indeed, and it also helps that the lights are new, this makes a big difference in itself.
They look really good, just like xenons infact!!!

Where did you pick those up? I tried many differend "blue" bulbs a few years ago and gave up in the end because they were all crap.

From here mate..

You get some free sidelight bulbs too, and these are good quality too, they look a lot whiter than the standard bulb.

I replaced the lights because the old one were broken and badly pitted, I want some nicer wheels as the M3 arches seem to be huge and I want to fill them a little more...I'm not putting chrome spinners or anything on it though!! It will either be some 17" cross spokes, or some 17" genuine alpinas....nothing else! I want to keep it looking original....and what's wrong with the evo lip spoiler like the M3 in the E30 zone banner above?! I think all the M3's should have them! That will be all I do to the car, all other things will be completely standard, and the things I do to the car will be very easily reversible apart from the evo spoiler.

What does the output compare to the two lights? I think that the non smilie Bosch units are better, what do you think?

If you want a home for them PM me.

To be honest the bulbs in the non smileys are old and crap, and the bulbs in the smoked lights are upgraded so obviously I found the lighting better with the smoked smileys.
I might try smoking the non smileys too and see how they compare.

I c, im going to convert mines back to the non smilie, then get some modern projectors from a A4 or a S2000 and stick them in. The output is 'light' years ahead of the old 90's design.
