ok guys lets talk about engine conversions because all this map talk is far past my small little mind. :(

one step at a time, crawl - walk - run - :burn:

im looking for the 3.5 so is this wise or there is a little turbo and manifold on the bay that take my fancy...

so cost wise, chance of actually finishing the project and getting it back on the road :mad:

turbo?3.5?m50? is the m50 a straight in job?-ish?

whatever you choose you're gonna need some form of uprated management, either an aftermarket, or in the case of the M50 etc swop, the ECU and loom from the donor car.

No-one can decide these things for you, cheapest option is probably tune the existing, or go FI on what you have.
