have no pics of the engine... its with the bodyshop still - I'm waiting to find out still after 4 days whether its been written off or if its repairable!

UPDATE
head back from insurance that the cost to repair is £3248.00
Waiting now to see whether its to be written off or not!
Will report back when i know more.
Fingers crossed they will repair it!

yep, he would have been the opposite side of the impact very difficult driving when cars parked each sideI drive a large vehicle and sh!t happens you don't go out looking to damage anything.Hope all goes well for you

NEW UPDATE - 16th August
They are repairing it!! -
Should have it back shortly - Actually surprised they are repairing it, considering its probably only worth 4-4.5k and the repair is 3.5k - but still better the devil you know and all that!
Will post some pics once its sorted. anyway- this is what it was like pre accident!

Don't worrie m8, Not much damage just some Minor damage my friend, All u need is a Front bumper, n/s wing , & n/s front indicator. Trust me Ive got an E36 Saloon which was a Cat D Salvage when I bought it hit from the back & front. I got it repaired & its looking good now. Good Luck with your claim anyway.

Just worked out how to get the bluetooth working on it... after 3.5 weeks!!

Hello Tregzy lol didn't expect to see you here.
Andrew someone else mentioned this already but do make sure the bodyshop the insurance use are to your standards, either through reccomendation or experience.
Insurance companies will always go for insurance approved workshops, but this does not ensure quality.
Both the Bridgwater and Taunton insurance approved bodyshops have been known to turn out some dire quality work and literally everyone I know who has work done at them has had to return, one friend 6 times.
You have the right to demand they use your preffered bodyshop, probably costing them less than insurance approved one as well looking at that quote
. You may lose the courtesy vehicle though
