I had a similar problem, the locksmith had it opened in under a minute!

how about taking the drivers side door barrel out, and taking that to a locksmith and asking them to cut a key from the lock.

This service usually costs around £20 around where i live!

Bonus - you have a spare key! (assuming that they same key opens boot and door!)

Morning all. Success last night! We went at the lock with some pliers and many different sizes and shapes of screwdriver and got it open in 30 minutes. No damage to the car, just need a new boot lock now.

Think I will now get another set of keys cut asap!
