I used to live in the UK (Manchester) and car crime to the Police is just something that happens and not in their interest unless...You can get the little 5hits to steal the car, and scratch it at the same time, then, if the Police have a chance of a car chase (sorry ) pursuit, then and ONLY then are they interested in car crime IMHO

Cars being vandalised still makes the papers here in the Isle of Man and if the culprits are caught we send them to jail (with good old slopping out and 3 in a cell) Just what they deserve the w4nkers -no slapped wrist b0llox here - we used to flog them until 1997 :D :D

its nearly a year now since that and it still makes me VERY angry and upset. some people are absolute W4NKERS who have no respect for NICE cars.

no matter how much I might hate a particular car, or even the person who owns it I would never damage someones car, especially if its their pride and joy, its just wrong in every way!
OH MY GOD. damn mate, does little fu#kers!

Messing with another persons car, is like sleeping with a Nun, you just shouldnt do it.

Even if the nun's hot???
even if, she is hot my son...

Gutted for you mate, ive seen this car when the previous owner had it, lovely motor even then, and i know you've tidied it up etc. Words cant even describe how i feel about scum like this. You dont touch another mans motor!!!! Weve all been jealous of something or another, or taken a dislike to someone, but why cant people just understand this is not the way to deal with it. Just revel in the knowledge that this scumbag was obviously very jealous and bitter that they had to do this, and hopefully they live a bitter and unhappy existence. What goes around comes around.

Where i work (at a BMW dealers would you believe!) we have to park our cars on an industrial estate, and pikeys have just moved in the other side of the estate. Really hope this doesnt happen to anyone's car, or that my new wheels dont go walkies.

Hope you get it all sorted ok. Zone vigilante squad anyone?

that's absolutely gutting mate. have you got a good bodyshop sorted as i can recommend Sovereign Coachworks in st-leonards if you haven't...

i came out to my car the other week and found the drivers side doors pushed in by about 4"!!! some wanker had hit it during the night and done a runner. luckily i found a pair of door in the right colour but it's still £70 and a weekend of my time to sort it. my car also bears the scars of someone keying it in the past.

iu seriously think that this sort of behaviour should be punished with the removal of a least one finger. the point would soon be rammed home after a rew incidents!

rare

i'm feeling for you right now seeing those pictures of your motor - it's what we all dread at the end of the day. it's made me right angry sat here but...here's a couple of thruths that you're not going to want to hear:

- the police won't do anything unless you've got indisputable evidence of who's done it as it's not worth their time

- it's all to easy to blame the wrong person. be very sure before you act

- if you do act be sure that your victim will have indisputable that you've injured them

it sucks but at the end of the day you just have to be the bigger man and either pay up for the repair or live with it. "there's no justice - just us."
