So! I've been fairly busy lately. Wish everything was here, painted, and installed on the car so y'all could get as excited as I am for this.

After I got hit a few weeks ago, I've been on a buying spree. I've finally got all the replacement parts to fix the damages (just need to get everything painted). I didn't just get what was needed to fix things, I kinda decided to upgrade a few things while I was in there.

While pulling parts, I managed to snag the following:

full 13-button OBC conversion, including gong & turn signal stalk (can take photos later, once i clean up my interior)
euro headlight grills (waiting on installation, still have to wire up plugs & finish the refinishing project on the euro smiley headlights)
euro bumper trim (waiting on installation)
eyebrows (debating installation or not)
euro smoked tails with rear fog & switch (pic included)
hartge front strut bar (waiting on arrival & installation)
hartge side skirts (here, just need to get painted & installed)
hartge rear valence (waiting on arrival, paint, & installation)
hartge rear spoiler (here, waiting on paint & installation)
hartge wheels (15x7+25)

That colour is sweet, nice to see something a bit different! Keen to see the Hartge wheels on.

Euro bumpers are in the works. I've just got to clean them up & then get them installed (along with everything else.. haha)

I've edited it to include the Hartge front strut bar that I also picked up and am waiting on. Only need a few little things to complete my set :D

Looking forward to seeing it finished.

So, the most depressing thing happened last night.....

My baby got rearended....

Me and my boyfriend were driving to dinner, and we were stopped at a red light. This dumb asian broad slammed into us going at least 35+. She claims she "totally didn't see us." She barely spoke any English, and didn't even have her insurance information in the car with her. She had to call her husband to come play mediator.

She hit us so hard that my central locking freaked out and rapid fires locks/unlocks the car, so it's a **** to get in or out of the car now.

We're both very sore, but we're ok. We've got a police report open, and insurance claims are already in progress. I'm REALLY hoping that their insurance will be able to convince a body shop to actually do the repairs on their dime, or that they'll cut me a big enough check to do the repairs myself. If they don't, I'm pushing for a big enough chunk to buy a new car....

I am totally heartbroken, but grateful that none of my really cool Euro stuff was on the car yet (minus the taillights)... That's all safe..

Hi Jennifer welcome along, that's a gorgeous e30 and I wish you many a happy and safe mile behind the wheel - you look so enthusiastic with the car :-) The colour looks identical to Ford Aztec Bronze, I used to have a 3.0 Capri in this colour. Edit - I've just realised there was a second page with the accident photos, I am so sorry to see this :-(

Wow, twice someone hunted you down to damage your car within 4 months.
You might consider getting a cheap car with all those banger racers around you all the time.

Nice colour though, maybe you should get the right bumper/spoilers (Original instead of Hartge  ) and have the whole car in the same colour.

just read through your tread that's a lovely 318is and i also love the color as well! very

id say it really pops on a summer evening when the sun is low! that's a rotten bit of luck to with the crashes both front and rear but hang in there and keep at her!

unfortunatly we can baby them as much as possible but there is always some one out there that will crash into you or put a dent in your car while parked you just have to hope it wont happen! :

It's official:

insurance is totaling out my car. I knew they'd do it right from the start. Still sucks to hear though... All of my cool stuff has already been pulled and is waiting for a new e30 to call home. I'm going to look at a few cars this weekend, so hopefully one of them pans out and I can get back into the swing of things. I'll be in another e30; you can't get rid of me that easily!
