I'm nearly 10 years into my C2 8O i 've only driven it for 6months when bought it. So thats 9/12 years sat in my garage in various states whilst i've bought and sold/driven all sorts of cars along the way!

I can say with experience the longer its left the harder the motivation and the bigger the small hurdles become.

This year it will run! i hope.....

Bloody hell. I remember when you bought that thing. It was from that chap up in Cheshire, of which I can't remember the name of.

Well it passed the MOT with the same advisories as last year for rear tyres and handbrake efficiency - but being as its done 318 miles since the last MOT and they are still well above the legal limit and it only gets used in the dry im in no rush to replace them.
My suspicions on the handbrake were right - the passenger side is spot on but my attempts to adjust the drivers side had actually made it worse so i will have to have the disk off to sort it out properly.

Aside from that despite curing the air leak and adjusting the valve clearances last year its still running lean :roll:
