The Mikalor clamp is basically a really nice clamp that fits much more flush to the exhaust centre join and clamps all the way round unlike the c piece with 2 bolts that most exhaust places use. I did it primarily because it fits totally flush with the bottom of the exhaust whereas the old clamp stuck out for miles and kept grounding out every where I went!

Hi all from another newbie. I spotted my big bro's post and thought I would contribute. Thanks to Geeman for selling his 318is to Ben it means he should stop pestering me to get his ex Kumho 325i sport back that he sold to me 6 months ago!? I'm going to Snett with him on the 28th and will be dishing out free copies of Practical Performance Car magazine to anyone who wants one. May see some of you there? Sam.
