Rust wise its good, its had new arches welded in, this is evident since removing the rear door cards, one side hasnt been done aswell as its bubbling through see original pics, looks fine from inside but obvioulsy must of missed some rust. the rear valance has had a new towing eye welded in and has an original finish, would love to know what they used to get the exact same finish as bmw. also the back of the cubby hole where the towing eye is has been welded up well too.
both front jacking pads have had welding work done, to a really good standard too, with correct underseal etc.

Nice find, especially for £400. Looking like a enjoyable little clean up project...

Few more jobs done today
Finished the rear number plate area, painted with zinnorbar and fitted new number plate lamps and fitted the heckblende with new number plate

Painted Front valance as the previous owner had fitted a mugello red one which looked alot more orange than the rest of the car, also gave it plenty of laquer after so its nice and shiney

Its the best front valance ive seen aswell Mick, the edges as seen in above picture rubbed down to shiney metal where there was a small bit of flaking and now with fresh paint should last many more years to come
OEM with a difference
Its going to become my daily ive decided, before i put it on the road i'am splashing out £200+ on a Miller MAF conversion so i can get 30 mpg
Just need to ditch the nasty aero wipers
