E34s had very solid build qaulity imho. I dont think they build cars like that anymore

I remember someone banging a fiesta door into my e34's door, there wasnt a dent in mine, but they couldnt close the fiesta door after as it buckled it.

Picked up the old man's new 525i auto. 83k 3 owners and very tidy, drives lovely too.

I am not sure now you mention it Si ? I would assume a lap belt but it looks like a 3x3 in the piccy doesn't it...

Yeah, I think they are a lap belt, it's probably tucked up as it should be.

Deffo a lap belt in the middle of an E34.
