no mate got coilovers ready to fit like i said before if i find a real m3 for the right price i will buy one. so dont realy wanna go crazy with the spends on this one. and i will be able to set the height with the coilovers no problem. when yours is nearly done dont put a pic of a m3 badge in 5 mile of the car. its not worth the hassle every time i log on people telling me not to put them on.

I've had it all before, worse than this mate, just stick around and ignore the haterz, it's your car, do what YOU want to do to it
What engine you fitting?

maybe m50/m52 or a e36 m3 if its not a load of cash to do. if i could get a full conversion that would be great. mind you the 2.5 thats in is fit enough so just get the car back in a weeks time do the suspension service coilovers disc pads. inside the car exhaust bearings bushes then mot tghink me and me mate should get the work done in a week so the car should be all done 14 days from now. then i will have a think to go for a diff engine if a full conversion comes up i will have that the m50/m52 looks a easy enough job
It's constructive criticism.e30repm3 wrote:kieran are you taking the mick there are getting fitted end of it your spoiling the post
If you aim to please with the above then go the whole hog and fit the drivetrain etc and then it's worthy of the M3 badge.
It's a polite way of saying it.

cheers i think i will get some deep dish wheels soon a s its all done just sell the 2 sets i have now.
And constructive criticism we know it is but your the 10th person to say it and i know people wouldnt fit the badges. but like i say i am the end. probs cause you have 2 real e30 m3 sat in your garage you think its alright to pick on peoples hard work and project.
im not aiming to please any1 i have dont the car for myself and for the money i think it looks very well. its easy saying fit the drive train and suspension hubs etc etc but thats easy for you to say.

Nice looking rep.....
I don't see a problem with the M3 badges, but I would put normal BMW badges on the car instead of the ACS ones.....I just think they're pretty ugly. But its up to you.
I don't think either wheel suits the car really
How about a nice set of ACS Type I splits

Alpina rims will go perfect with the AC and ///M badges
Just need some Hartge interior pieces and away we go....

I see no problem with this method! A little rough handed with the cuttin in the first pic, but with a clean cut and a strong weld and sealed back, this would be a good job. I know full quaters would be better to drill out spot welds and replace in full. But depending what you have to work with, if its done well and looks good, its a winnerpacerpete wrote:

Yeah c'mon Pete play nice now- just because his signature pic shows a certain 'taste' that isn't to everyone's liking, no need to flame him

Whilst I think this battle now has some real potential for some good old zone firefighting, perhaps a new thread?
