found the ****ing problem!

The wire from the loom to the coil was gently resting on the exhaust, which melted through and was shorting the connection. was a very sly and subtle contact hidddn under the washer bottle.

Well,at least it was a new fault,must remember that one!
For your interest,if you had confirmed that the plugs were getting wet(with petrol :mad: )it would have confirmed;
fuel pump
fuel pump relay
fuse 11
all funtioning as required....

And that the fault could only be the coil, the ECU or the wiring between them.

small battery positive wire has 50 amp fuse hidden in loom it gives lots of trouble feeds ecu, coil fuel pump easy fix slit it open with a stanley knife and jumper the wire,bet it starts!

I performed all tests as quick as possible. When your garage is a few miles away from your house it can take a while to bring back results!

hidden 50 amp fuse in small positive battery cable bet it starts first time good luck
