But they are not road legal and the wet ones will shred to bits in the dry!

I did think they were road legal :? but it doesn't really matter as I'll only be using them on the track.....when I get there..!

There's been no real progress on the car, a new clutch had to happen but the new date ( :? 8O  is now the begining of December (3rd) for the track here on the Isle of Man.

I doubt if the not road legal slicks will be coming out though..!

Last time up there there were a few rally boys who said they would be willing to pass on for a very small fee their old tarmac tyres so that's certainly good news for future tyre costs

Any advice would be much appriciated as I need to get ready for 17th September - It's my 1st track day in the 'stripped E30 325i' :D

Cheers
What trackday you doing on the 17th?? Anglesea?
Sorry mate never got to answer but NO..! Seriously I would love to do Anglesey next year as that's where I'm from originally - Rhosneigr is only 3 miles away from the circuit. I've heard it's a course suited to lightweight machines like Caterham and Elises so the E30 325 should be fun..(might get a grass cuttings box put on the back end!) winkeye
