Famous E30'S

Yes it was - under the block of flats next to the college. The number plate was changed and the actor was a guy from some soap opera - I'd never seen him before.
The main actor was Robert Carlyle- he drove the 6 series. His mate drove my 323i. The film was set in 1981 but that didn't seem to worry the producer that my car wasn't launched to late 1982
The canteen was in the grounds of the college.
Some of the actors came off the set with orange faces. I asked a member of the crew why they were made up like that. He told me that's how you go when taking drugs. I just looked round at some of the audience to see quite a few that didn't need make up.

"I've recently moved house - it'll be in a box somewhere, I'll try to find it for you." Grantfk10 - cheers it will nice to see the E30 on disc.

Once the bright film lights got on then this apparently paled it to yellowish.
