A good friend of mine had a mintball 3dr white cossie that he cherished, a MK1 Escort rally car that he built (and crashed) but he sold the cossie because it was just an expensive driveway ornament. He sold it for £8K when prices were low so that's M3 money anyway. But I'd still have an M3 coz it looks better and I'm guessing it handled better? What does a mint 3dr Cossie go for these days?

probably about the same as a mint m3. from about £10000+. my mate also has a real mint cossie 3 door thats had a complete rebuild and a bare metal respray and he does no more than 500 miles a year in it. its a waste of a good car .he wouldnt let me borrow it as a courtesy car when he was fitting my new turbo to my cossiesuchy wrote:A good friend of mine had a mintball 3dr white cossie that he cherished, a MK1 Escort rally car that he built (and crashed) but he sold the cossie because it was just an expensive driveway ornament. Easy come easy go.....but let's not forget you could have a stunning RS500 in your garage with the money you wasted.
Easy come easy go. You could have a 308GTB Ferrari. Easy come easy go indeed.
But I'm sure to a Gentleman of your wide horizons, a fridge white £800 E30 with a Cosworth engine is all you've ever wanted.............not much to show for all that money, is it?? But, easy come, easy go.
Read the 1st post,not reading 11 pages..
but to sum up...this thread is pointless.
why not say an F40 is pointless because a 2 litre jap 4 door can pwn it.
it's all about the driving experience...not 1 thing more.

People like what they like and yes its all about how a car feels and looks to you.
The M3 is my favourite car! If you want a white touring cossie with alpinas then you can have it as far as im concerned.lol Its down to what you want at the end of the day, what anyone else says doesn't matter!
Btw, this thread is shite.lol
