Not long to go now......... lol
Billy is in the garage as we speak..............dropped him off last night...........
Funniest thing was I woke up this mornig and went outside to go to work only to find Billy was not there..........after running back inside the house heartbroken and screaming at my mum that some little chav has knicked my beloved Billy.........she turned round laughing at me..........I was like mum it's not funny I need to call the police and my insurance company Billy's gone.............then calmly she said he's not been knicked...........I was like he has he's not there............trying not to pee herself laughing again she said thats cause you left him at the garage last night to have him worked on today................Oh my god I've never felt so silly............it was a momentary lapse of memory............I had completely forgotten.............oh well all is good now lol.........

Looking forward to this guys, I'm on the Scottish region stand, bringing the mrs's red E36, we're heading off tomorrow and making a weekend of it. Down on Friday and back on Monday. Staying in our usual hotel, might bump into Oz and the others that were there last year. I'll pop over and say hey, see you's there!
Paul.

I only just found out about this show, and will definitely be missing the Sunday of the British GT/F3/FF meeting at Silverstone for this - would love to catch up with my fellow zoners after talking to you all for the last few years!
P.S> I just woke up after 12 hours of sleep after driving to Silverstone from Heathrow, after being on the go for 30+ hours from Australia. I thinks I trumps ALL of you for distance travelled to get to this show!

o.k.I've just checked out all the forecasts, and the Met office long range synoptic charts. The best guess is partly cloudy, westerly winds 10/15 mph, high of 20C/68F.10% chance of a shower,so could be alot worseRav335uk wrote:Oh Bloody Great.

If it aint broke don't fix it!
What time are you leaving? Im just down the road in Orpington, so will be jumping on the M25 at Junction 4. I don't want to plan to meet up, but if I catch you I will hook onto your convoy, don't really want to be stopping and waiting for people. I recon its about a 2 hour drive.fowler wrote:m3 jim i am rocking up from croydon if you fancy meeting up on th m25Is anyone going in convoy from near brighton?????

I'm having a full service on the 325i on saturday morning, new fluids all round, new plugs, fuel filter and cambelt. But I expect to be all ready for a liesurely 07:30 departure from J11 on the M25. I'll be looking out for other BMs of course!

Neil & Gryff, seems an age since you first picked up the gauntlet yet weekend is finally here. Hope to meet you both during course of the day aswell as many of you fellow zoners. I shall have the red 325 sport recreation on the car club e30 register display so do say hello.
ps hope some of you attend the clinic sessions (sounds medical!!) and all enjoy the day.
best regards steveH

See you all on the road. Not sure if roof will be down, not easy to persuade the missus of the health benefits..but still looking forward to the roads full of E30s again!
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!
Right about to pack up the car, not a lot of room in a cab for 3 plus camping stuff
So this is my last post till after Sunday. If anyone needs to contact me I will be on number removed but primarily availiable on number removed. See you all soon

It was nice to meet you and the misses. Talking about your cars you really should post some pics in the Photo Gallery. I think lots of people will bebam2002 wrote:We are in London. In the south part of Hyde park.
Doing the site seeing this week. We will see every one on Sun. I have been driving for 2 weeks now on the opposite side of the road. Seems to be ok..

I really should go to Florida again, I think St Augustine is a good place to chill out.

CR24v??? Where's it all gone?? LOL
What a fantastic event to attend - but where was JimmyC? I came all the way just for you and Sal from Evolve - and both of you were in absentia!
So many nice E30 M3s and special BMWs, I had to make several trips to the loo to, er, sort myself out...
Good to catch up with guys running MINI Challenge UK, Kumho BMW Championship, CSL Cup and Production BMW. Headed to Stratford-on-Avon afterwards, then Bidford, now updating from a small hotel in Malvern - heading to the Morgan factory tomorrow. If it wasn't for the BMW event, I wouldn't have been on this fantastic side journey!

Did pass by briefly, the day just flew-by but missed you two. Hope a few saw my 325iSport ReCreation on e30 Register (for sale) and pity I could not have put few more faces to names.
Still good day and BMWCC happy aswell, cannot be bad.

No, the LifeCar is on display at Pebble Beach in California. But saw the Aero 8 and Aeromax, and the design of the new Aero Super Sports (Aero 8/Max replacement).
Saw plenty of BMW bits lying around as well!
