To be honest, that will hold ok, i just cant leave you to drive around like that. If you have an off, its the first thing the Insurance assessor will pick up on.

The bush is not correctly aligned, its not worn but its not designed to be loaded like that.

It's probably worth drilling it using progressively larger drill bits until you're very close to the thread edge, then try and collapse the remainder of the bolt in on itself.

Perhaps use a junior hacksaw or padsaw/jigsaw blade to cut through the thin wall to the thread edge.

If it's cross threaded then trying to save the threads on the chassis side isn't really worth it. As speedtouch said small drill 1st, keep the speed down when drilling hard steels, if you can get coolant on it all the better. Work your way up the sizes. Don't try and go too fast or you'll just cook the drill bits.

Normal drill bits will make a bad situation worse!! you need "Dormer" drill bits for a job like this, Start off small and work up to an 8mm (iirc) and tap the remains out. If you get it right you should not need to helicoil it. Be warned though, do NOT snap the drill bit in the hole!! If you could get the car to me i would sort it for you FOC in the interests of road safety.

Dormer is the manufacturer. Try your local Cromwell Tools. There is one in Basildon, don't know how far you are from them

They are a bit more of an engineers tool rather than a B&Q special tbh mate

Clacton is miles from anywhere!
