a vid will be up by the weekend! i would have done it today but i have some sort of bug and my head feels like its going to explode.. i want to get hold of a bbtb at some point... then the unichip... i need to get my head lamps realigned and i think an indicator bulb on the offside has given up the ghost.. other than that shes sweet... at long last... when the vid's are up and i get a min i will work out what it has cost me to get the car to where it is now... a friend of mine is changing the locks, ignition barrel and ews modules on the car on saturday... every bmw has two keys... i have one.. so im changing the locks just to make sure.. buggered if im spending all this money for it to disappear in the night.

Tim a new key from BMW is much less money and aggro than changing all the locks. What are you on?!

Looks good, around 6 seconds 0-60
Why do you want a lockset? Bit of paranoia/schizophrenia setting in? No alarm?

Simple DIY immobiliser will stop someone with your key from starting the car, toad alarm/immobiliser will also sound a siren at them and anyone in the area

now the turd is running as it should.. look everyone... this is how a healthy 328 should rev and go... now its finally right!! i actually like the car now... weird huh?? and its only cost me...
engine £500
fitting £250
fly wheel £250
bremi coils £220
12 bmw ngk plugs = ?????
two rear tyres £180+++
two outer balljoints + fitting + mot and oil change
rear break pipe = done with above... bill = £240 odd
windscreen £70
m50 inlet manifold... iv forgotten how much + fitting
engine oil £60 mobil 1 5w30 fully synth
level 1 diagnostic = £90
airfilter x2 = dunno lol
oil filter x2
plus more stuff i cant be bothered to remember... so here is some advice if someone goes to buy a car with virtually no mechanical knowledge... take someone with you who knows about cars.. and dont EVER trust the seller... remember they are selling the car for a reason... find out what the real reason is they are selling the vehicle.

You know full well that the reason I sold it is because you wanted one and my missus wanted a smaller car.
You still own a top notch 328i Sport for around the price you would have paid for a 'sorted' car Tim.
You can be such a prick it is unbelievable.
Rather than take someone that knows about cars, try paying the going rate! You bought it for next to nought and now it is sorted. Why don't you just stop trying to diss people and go and play on the E36 forum where you belong!

p.s take a look at the final video i put up mike... thats how a 328 should rev and go

Doesn't ;look much different to the first video to me, amazing what you can do with your right foot if you want to.
I hope you can finally enjoy your car. As for a decent profit on your E30 plus a £100 loss on your wheel....who are you trying to kid.
If you wish to continue to provoke me just carry on doing whtat you are doing. I thought we had put this to bed ages ago, but you just can't leave it.....or can you?
I hope you will be satisfied now and I do sincerely hope that you are not calling BBB all the names under the sun because they are accused of selling you a duff engine 3 months down the road after you have tharshed it to bits.
P.S. I do not respond to threats too well

do me a favour and look at the compression test reaults posted earlier.. they should be as close to 200psi as possible.. and if you dont know what that means i suggest you use google... bbb are honest guys.. as am i.... so the right foot is to blame?? of course.. i was holding back on the throttle before wasnt i?? you make me @ucking sick.RM2186 wrote:Doesn't ;look much different to the first video to me, amazing what you can do with your right foot if you want to.

its like your inept comment earlier in the thread saying that the lack of compression was due to me thrashing it for 17 days i had owned it... dont make me laugh... it was @ucked when i got it.. you knew it... end of.. so please, please stop coming up with ridiculous defenses to try and save your tattered reputation on this forum.
on the plus side i am happy with the car now.. and the service that bbb have given me.. ask bbb what they think about the anchor that came out.

Tim, I genuinely hope that you will be happy with the car now, my missus adored it and was sorry to see it go and still is!
We would never have known that it was down on compression on the dinky little journies she used to do in it.
It was a nice car and by all accounts is at the top of the game now, so well done for getting it into top nick. You said you would spendf money to get her right when you purchased it. I just resent the accusation that I knew there were any other problems with it, simply that and nothing more. I am glad it is sorted now.
I also unreservedly apologise for the name calling earlier, just frusation and very unlike my normal manner.
My health has taken a very serious downturn in the last month and I hope that we can put this behind us for the good of us both and the zone.

Right, Time to draw a line under this situation I think Tim.
You went to view the car and traded your 320 against it iirc. You had the option to return with your 320 but chose to go for this car. Your choice, No-one elses.
I chat to Mike quite regularly about zone related stuff and have no reason to remotely suspect that there were any wrong doings on his behalf.
Can you stop the slander now please, Unless you can prove that Mike knowingly sold you a lemon please keep your comments civil.
Mike, Please remember that threats will not be tolerated on here. I know you have appologised but I still need to make sure you are aware it's not on.

Understood Dave, it will not happen again I can assure you.
Tim, as said before, I am glad that the car is running well and that you are happy with it. We all know what a perfectionist you are about your car and you have spent a good deal on it to make it so.
I believe that this will repay you when you decide to sell it on or be a good investment for the future.

dont you ever talk to me again.. or comment on any of my threads, your m badges mean shit if anything they could fool potential buyers into trusting you... its all well and good you commenting dave but i think if the same happened to you im sure you would be saying the same... if you cant see through the ballshit its your problem.RM2186 wrote:Understood Dave, it will not happen again I can assure you.
