Best to keep them rolling, else everything will seize up.

Agreed, last thing I want to do is start rebuilding a shitbox a™ˆSpeedtouch wrote:Best to keep them rolling, else everything will seize up.
I think it would more likely get picked up by the scrap guys before the jacks will go down a˜a

Yes, that's another consideration in this day and age.

Replaced the exterior window rubbers, a job that's now close to the top of my "never want to do again list". The rears were quite easy but the fronts are a pig. Unfortunately one of the fronts needs doing again as the rubber had a small kink in it and it's left an unsightly gap

Sorted out a high level light finally thanks to the zone
also worked out why ny heater is stuck on : the knob pulls the cable but doesn't push it back....
The story so far... http://www.cookracing.co.uk/

Moved battery back in the boot, to make space for LPG reducer. Fitting LPG kit tomorrow. Doing too much driving, costing way too much. Will recover cost after just 1300 miles.
I`m driving E30, 1989, 325i, 4 door. Restoring 1990, 4 door.

Replaced both rear top strut mounts, so much better now. Fitted LPG tank in place of spare wheel, ran pipe to engine bay, mounted reducer and filter, fitted filling connector. Hoping to get all wiring done in another day.

Well, over the christmas period i managed to :
Fit shorter springs on the Gaz coilovers (front and rear)
Shift the adaptors around to get more arch clearance
Fix the heaters so the actually work
Quieten down the Valve tapping
Get the 17inch TSW Hockenheims tyred up for winter
Rolled the rear arches
Fitted clear/smoked front and side indicators
Wire up my Nakamichi headunit
Now I've just got to replace all the factory speakers with upgraded items + 10inch Sub, sound deaden the whole car, detail the paintwork, and possibly find a set of Recaro Pole positions to trim in sport material and E38 Brembos.
All before the road trip to Worthesee in May

Finished all electrics and now driving on LPG! Didn`t go as planned, burned ECU
Got cheap one in breakers yard and rewired correctly. Engine now runs quiter, no acceleration loss, can start on LPG. Love it, cheap driving.

Wow, stunning finish there Gav. Very nice indeed. Didn't it feel good to get the turds all polished up after so much awful weather .
I love my machine polisher, after a bit of practice it can give a great finish. Love it
