Don't you have to make a little spacer/collar/thingy to go in between the master cylinder and servo ?

Steve,looking good there mate,fair play to you(well the others actually,seems like there doing all the work
).
RandomDave off this forum has done this conversion.
I went as a passenger in it a few weeks ago,and it felt fooking quick,at least compared to my iS anyway.
Just seemed to pull from nowhere,took it upto about 120 and from a passengers point of view it felt spot on!
Good luck(to the other 2 aswell
)

Looking good! You've done in a weekend what it took me about six months to do! Pity it's not a vanos engine though - that really does have some low down grunt. You can change it easily enough though in the future, I suppose, if one comes up.

Early M50s ( up to some time in '92, IIRC), didn't have vanos. The later units are M50 Tu.kam-325i wrote: I thought the M50 had single Vanos, just on one side, cant remmeber wether its the intake or exhaust side.

But you have to admit, the chances are that you'll never get one that cheap again.

Good effort my friend...
You're inspiring me to get stuck in with my stunted project.. S50B32 into a 318is.
Just have to strip out the engine from MRoadster and fit it..
Not much!
