In this episode, I take delivery of a new project whilst I wait for the sedan and silver touring to get back from Spain. It's A BMW E30 316i Touring from 1992. This project will be quicker and less in-depth compared to the 325i sport restoration. I wanted to challenge myself to do a working project and not just strip everything down completely and start from scratch. We're going to find and address each issue and keep it as a working project.
I've been told that the engine runs rough and that it's stuck out of gear. I'll be removing the engine and completing a full engine and maybe gearbox restoration in this series.
I'll also be respraying the whole car as well as sorting out any interior issues there might be. Once the car lift is installed it'll make working on and filming the car so much easier. All to come very soon.

No need for the drill to let the water out. There's already a drain at the front, but usually blocked with sealant.
