Looking like I will have few weeks off work so looking to pass the time working on the 325i, have a few questions before I get tore into it so any help will be appreciated.

Have most of the carpet lifted but can’t seem to get at the bit from the centre console where it goes up into the bulkhead any handy way of getting this out?

Also looking to replace all the floor bungs, does anybody know the part number for these so I can order them in or are they available online?

It sounds drastic but it's fairly common practice to cut the carpet where it goes behind the heater matrix. When the centre console is refitted it won't be visible. I'm guessing the floor bungs are one of the items in the link, #18 maybe? https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpa ... Id=51_1744

The choices are remove the heater box, or cut around the carpet, as per Cloggy Saint, but beware of wires under the carpet. There's also a small bit to cut above the steering column to avoid having to remove that. You can get the carpet out from under the heater without cutting it, but it's near impossible to get it back in.
Take careful note of the dimensions given to get the right bung for a particular place.

Thanks for the replies, I will try removing the heater box and see how things progress,

Few of the bungs seem fine but I think it would be worthwhile replacing them all while I’m doing it

Currently laying in bits now, seats and carpet out, heater controls half out getting ready to fit a 13 channel obc and stalk and have the kit off aswell giving it a good going over.

Found some rot in the inner sill and outter sill so will need that sorted but was wondering would it be handier buying a new sill to use for a cuts or are they easily fabricated just purely for cost efficiency when taking it to get done it’s not a full sill I need but I would buy it if would be handier as the inner sills look a bit awkward

Also on the market for heated seats loom and relay and switches so any help would be appreciated
